Rod Bennett was, for many years, the editor of Wonder Magazine, a cult-favorite media journal which numbered such luminaries as Ray Bradbury and Ray Harryhausen among its devotees. His writings have appeared in other national publications as well, including Rutherford, Gadfly, and Our Sunday Visitor.
An accomplished speaker on film and television topics, Rod has led seminars on the cinema of Frank Capra and John Ford, and the Star Wars films of George Lucas to appreciative audiences of more than 300 at once. He has also discussed his work on radio and television programs such as The Journey Home and Bookmark.
Rod lives in the mountains of East Tennessee with his wife Dorothy and their two teenagers. When he’s not hammering at the keyboard he enjoys reading history, theology, and science fiction; he also gets a kick out of baseball, babies, hillbilly music, and home grown vegetables.
